While UMAP has discussed the development of multi-lateral and thematic exchanges
in the future, the core of UMAP is reciprocal
exchange -- a proven approach that if administered properly results
in every institution and student receiving value from the experience.
The system is straightforward: a student from institution
A in country X travels to country Y for study at institution
B. And in a subsequent year a student from institution
B will travel to country X to study at institution A.
Any U.S. college or university that becomes a member of U.S. UMAP can -- with confidence and ease -- send its students
to institutions within the Asia-Pacific |
