In principle, UMAP was designed to serve baccalaureate degree granting institutions in member countries. (These institutions are generally 4-year undergraduate colleges and universities offering B.A. and B.S. degrees) As educational systems differ country to country UMAP leaves the final decision regarding institutional eligibility to the member countries themselves.
